About Me

Curiosity is the compass. Balance is the destination.

Howdy!

Hi there — welcome! I'm so glad you found your way here.

I'm Van, and I work at the intersection of sound, subtle energy, and the organized intelligence of living systems. As a certified Sound Practitioner, I use Biofield Tuning — working with precision tuning forks and SpectroChrome green laser — to help restore coherence to the body's biofield. I also integrate the principles of BioGeometry into my Sound Practice through measurements using Physical or French Radiesthesia, and through the design language of shape that balances energy fields.

In plain language: I help people and spaces breathe better at an energetic level.

I came to this work not through a straight line, but through a lifelong obsession with why things work the way they do — whether that's soil biology, mushroom networks, frequencies that heal, or the geometry woven into nature. I'm an information hoarder (proudly), endlessly curious, and I believe that most of life's puzzles — big and small — have elegant solutions if you know where to look.

I'm also in the middle of my own big transition: trading city life for something more rooted, more in rhythm with the land. That journey shapes everything I share here.

What I Do

🔔

Biofield Tuning

Using precision tuning forks and SpectroChrome green laser, I work within the body's bioelectric field — locating areas of dissonance and gently guiding them back into coherence. Sound isn't just heard; at this level, it's felt and corrected.

📐

BioGeometry

Every space and biological system has an energetic signature. Through measurement and the application of BioGeometry principles, I identify geometric solutions that counteract imbalances — working with the body and its environment as one integrated system.

🌿

Share My Experiences

I document the challenges and highlights of every project I take on — the experiments that surprised me, the ones that failed instructively, and the small revelations that changed how I see things. Real journeys, honestly told.

🔬

Frequency & Resonance

Grounded in the understanding that every tissue in the body carries natural bioelectrical properties, I explore how matching frequencies can influence behaviour through resonance — an ancient idea now being validated by modern researchers like Dr. Carolyn McMakin.

How Curiosity Became a Calling

My search for answers began in earnest around May 2006 — not from a dramatic illness, but from something quieter and, in its own way, more unsettling. For nine years I lived with Alopecia Areata Totalis, an autoimmune condition where antibodies attack the hair follicles, eventually leading to complete hair loss on the head. Biologically, every test confirmed I was healthy. Yet the answers kept eluding me.

Diet, environment, stress, exercise — I examined everything the conventional system offered. Nothing explained it. The turning point came unexpectedly, through a question asked by my naturopath — a former nurse with the wisdom to look beyond lab results. She asked simply: "How is your home life?"

"To my conscious mind, all was well. But as I answered her, I couldn't fight back the tears that came flooding down. I started to come to the realization that I was in denial. A bad relationship doesn't only look like a physically or mentally abusive one — but I was deeply unhappy, and I had been suppressing resentments and disappointments I'd been harbouring for a long time."

Life circumstances took me away from that relationship for a few months — and another revelation followed: my hair started growing back. The connection was undeniable.

That experience taught me something I carry into every aspect of my practice today: suppressed emotions have a powerful way of making themselves known. For some, they surface as illness or physical pain. For others, like me, they manifest quietly but unmistakably — a wake-up call from the body's own intelligence. Autoimmune disorders, I've come to understand, often carry a story of the self divided against itself — an internal war between perpetrator and victim, between what we feel and what we've agreed to accept.

My subconscious was not willing to stay silent. It wanted change — and it sent me a reality check I couldn't ignore.

That nine-year detour into the unexplained eventually led me to something extraordinary. During my research into ancient civilizations, I discovered that some of the oldest cultures on Earth used sound as a tool of healing. I was mesmerized. From there, I stumbled across Dr. Carolyn McMakin's work on Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) — and the principle of resonance: the understanding that every tissue in the body carries natural bioelectrical properties, and that matching frequencies can influence tissue behaviour in ways that remain invisible to conventional diagnostics. Her book, The Resonance Effect, opened a door I'm still walking through.

The lesson I carry forward: stay curious. Stay open. The answers are rarely where you first look for them — but they do exist.

Here, I love sharing the coolest discoveries from others alongside my own adventures and tinkering. My heart beats for healing through frequencies, BioGeometry, horticulture, fungi, DIY projects, and the depths of spiritual and personal growth.

So stick around — let's stay curious together. 🌿
