How to freeze bananas….like a BOSS!

Don’t you hate how fast bananas ripen? And then when you go to freeze them, they all clump together like a massive pack of ice.

When you want to make a smoothie with just one banana, you gotta find some kind of wedge to pry those suckers apart?

Good thing you came to right place! Because I’ve got a solution for you!

First things first, strip down all the bananas you plan to freeze. Get rid of their skins or it’ll be a bee-itchy to take off later when they’re all frozen and the banana skin & it’s flesh become ONE (like they’ve been crazy glued together).

Then slap them bananas down on some wax paper.

Next, fold up the edges to enclose the bananas and clamp them shut with a few staples.

Toss them all into the freezer until they’re all frozen stiff.

Once individually frozen, the ice crystals surrounding each banana will keep them from sticking to each other while frozen. So now you can remove them from their wax paper encasing (if you want, I don’t bother) and put them into a more freezer-friendly container/bag to prevent freezer burn.

The end. Enjoy your non-clumpy, frozen bananas.
